"account": "Johnny Depp is set to return to mainstream film with Day Drinker, a trailer for which hints at his triumphant comeback as much as the movie itself. The trailer opens with Depp stating, \"I made a living out of misbehavior,\" and ends with him declaring, \"I'm done when I say I'm done,\" a sentiment that resonates deeply with fans aware of his recent hiatus from acting following a U.K. court ruling that deemed his behavior as \"substantially true\" in allegations of wife-beating.\n\nThe film, directed by Marc Webb, centers around a private-yacht bartender played by Madelyn Cline who crosses paths with a mysterious guest aboard, played by Johnny Depp. This guest soon becomes entangled with a criminal figure portrayed by Penélope Cruz and their paths cross in unforeseen and intriguing ways. Sources indicate that Day Drinker's production began about a year before the debut of the trailer, with Depp initially cast in the role in October 2024. Filming commenced last year and the movie is slated for release on March 26, 2027.",
"summary": "Madelyn Cline and Penelope Cruz also star in the film, which debuts in March.",
