We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and His servant and Messenger Muhammad is His emissary. May Allah's blessings be upon him, his family, companions, and all who follow him. Today, we implore you and ourselves to keep Allah in mind. He, the Majestic One, declares, \"Be just; that is nearer to God-consciousness. And remember Allah, indeed Allah is ever All-Aware of what you do\" (Quran 5:8). Believers, our message today revolves around a principle that, when ingrained in the heart, brings about serenity; when embedded in the soul, provides solace; and when embraced by the spirit, instills trust in our Lord and confidence in our Creator. We speak of Allah, the All-Just—glorified be He. He is just in His judgment: \"Allah judges with truth\" (Quran 40:20). And He is just in His recompense: \"Indeed, Allah does not wrong anyone by so much as the weight of an atom\" (Quran 4:40). Justice is a cornerstone within Allah's creation, established to guard the rights of His servants. He, the Majestic One, declares, \"He raised the heaven and established the balance\" (Quran 55:7). With justice, He dispatched His messengers and revealed His scriptures. He narrates, \"Indeed, We sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance, so that people may uphold justice\" (Quran 57:25). Allah has instructed His servants to be just in their words and actions, at all times and in all circumstances. He says, \"O you who believe, be staunch in justice\" (Quran 4:135). Make justice an integral part of your lives, starting with yourself. Assess yourselves honestly and judge fairly, even against your own interests. 'Amr ibn Yāsir, may Allah be pleased with him, stated, \"Three virtues—whosoever possesses them has attained faith,\" among which he mentioned: \"Justice towards others, even against oneself\" (Bukhari). Uphold justice within your families, toward your spouses and children. Let each husband acknowledge his wife's efforts, fulfill her rights, avoid holding a momentary mistake against her, and not overlook her good deeds. Let her reciprocate with loyalty and amicable companionship. Our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, advises, \"Do not forget kindness between yourselves\" (Quran 2:237). Believers, be just among your spouses. Honor each one's rights and safeguard their dignity: \"Do not incline completely towards one, leaving the other suspended\" (Quran 4:129). Be wary of your Prophet's warning: \"Whoever has two wives and favors one over the other will arrive on the Day of Resurrection with one side of his body leaning\" (Tirmidhi). Be equally committed to justice in your treatment of your children, both in what you provide and the attention you show them. The Prophet (PBUH) advises, \"Be mindful of Allah and treat your children justly\" (Bukhari). Carry justice with you into the workplace. An employee must invest full effort, just as they desire every right arising from it. No one should neglect making a proper effort or acting sincerely, so they may receive the Lord's assurance: \"I shall never allow the work of any worker among you to be lost, whether male or female\" (Quran 3:195). A poet's words aptly capture this: Whoever does good shall never be deprived of its reward; kindness is never lost between Allah and humanity. One principle encompasses the various forms of justice in our interactions: giving others what we would desire in return. One of the Companions asked the Prophet (PBUH), \"Show me an act that will bring me closer to Paradise and distance me from the Fire.\" The Prophet (PBUH) responded, \"Worship Allah without associating anything with Him... and treat people as you would wish them to treat you. Whatever you dislike for yourself, do not inflict upon others\" (Sunan Abu Dawud). Let us embody justice throughout our lives and always adhere to our Creator's words: \"O you who believe, obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those entrusted with authority among you\" (Quran 4:59). These are my words, and I seek Allah's forgiveness for myself and for you. Seek His forgiveness.",
