This endorsement was made during a visit by Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Arthur Akpowowo, Chairman of the Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, Solomon Igrakpata, and State Director of Protocol, Chief Sunday Onoriode to the forum's secretariat in Effurun, Delta State.\n\nIn their endorsement, the Urhobo presidents-general pledged their commitment to working with the current government to safeguard the interests of their communities and ensure that their people benefit from government initiatives. They affirmed their belief that aligning Delta State with the political leadership at the center would strengthen federal partnerships and bring about greater opportunities for the state. This position is also in line with the call for Urhobo unity, peace and support from the Forum of Urhobo Traditional Rulers.\n\nThe endorsement extended beyond Governor Oborevwori to cover all APC candidates contesting various elective positions in the 2027 general election in Urhobo land.
