"account": "The Imole Campaign Council, the official campaign organization of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, has requested the Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, to safeguard members and supporters of the Accord Party before, during, and after the upcoming governorship election on August 15. This demand follows allegations of inflammatory remarks by Senator Francis Fadahunsi, who represents Osun East Senatorial District. The council's spokesman, Pelumi Olajengbesi, signed a petition stating that if these statements are proven, they would pose a serious threat to the lives of Accord members and supporters, particularly in Ilesa and other parts of Osun East Senatorial District. The petition emphasizes that voters should not have to choose between exercising their right to vote and protecting their lives. The council also demanded that adequate and impartial police protection be provided at polling units, collation centers, and other critical electoral locations to ensure a safe voting environment.",
