"account": "Malaysia's independence celebrates its 69th anniversary this year, with the 70th year on the horizon. Throughout this period, the nation has faced threats from communism, ethnic strife, and interference from neighboring countries. These challenges have ultimately made Malaysia mature. However, this maturity must be nurtured and not overlooked. Education curricula, for example, should evolve to support the people in continuing their progress forward, rather than regressing to the past. Unfortunately, there are voices today that wish to undermine Malaysia's name. These voices advocate for returning to a romantic era where the \"Land of the Malays\" would naturally eclipse the rights of other ethnic groups and those who helped build Malaysia on the world stage. Yet, the threat to Malaysia's independence persists, albeit in a subtle but significant form. We cannot turn a blind eye to the risks of this danger, as it is right before our eyes and even in our hands. The first threat is the normalization of dishonesty. This dishonesty has become more apparent over time and has become an ideology. I have previously stated in this column that dishonesty can compete with concepts such as nationalism, communism, feminism, and more, as it is an ideology that can compete, stick to, mimic, give birth to, and then mutate into new forms that are frightening. As an invisible alien, dishonesty can infiltrate nationalism, Islamism, and other ideologies, providing it with a new, dangerous, and destructive form. In this state, dishonesty is considered normal and seen as part of human life and existence. Dishonesty that should be condemned is now desirable. Many expressions found today wish to return to the era of sakau, live again in the 1MDB era, long for the World's Honesty Dad, and consider dishonesty as a boss, parent figure, or even king. In this state of mind, dishonesty is seen as peaceful, desired as beauty, and created by a false narrative to make it seem normal. Once viewed as normal, it will easily infiltrate all aspects of our daily lives. Under these conditions, dishonesty will become something easy to spread throughout our daily lives. At this point, creative manipulation of the Tabung Haji (Islamic Endowment Fund) is seen as unimportant. Even mentioning it in WhatsApp family groups, at mosques, or in neighborhoods will be considered insensitive or taboo. However, it is a major problem that must be discussed. Those advocating for these concerns will be hated, ridiculed, and seen as part of the conspiracy. Yet, these voices are legitimate. With the normalization of dishonesty, creative manipulation of the Tabung Haji is considered insignificant. Even mentioning it as a WhatsApp group joke, in a mosque, or in a neighborhood will be considered insensitive or taboo. In reality, it is a major problem that must be discussed. Those advocating for these concerns will face hatred, ridicule, and be seen as part of the conspiracy. However, these voices are legitimate.",
