"account": "Liverpool has signed 18-year-old goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans from Belgian side Genk in a deal worth up to £30 million, including add-ons. The talented young keeper, who stands at 6ft 7in, has agreed to a six-year contract with Liverpool. In the current season, he will spend time at Genk on loan before joining Anfield ahead of the 2027-28 season. According to sources, the initial fee along with subsequent payments could reach around £30 million, which is the maximum amount Liverpool is willing to pay. While Liverpool already boasts a strong goalkeeping lineup featuring Alisson, Giorgi Mamardashvili, Freddie Woodman, and Vitezslav Jaros, Alisson's contract is set to expire next summer and Mamardashvili's future is unclear. Thus, Brughmans could potentially become an option for Liverpool from the summer of 2027 onwards. The signing of Brughmans was facilitated by Liverpool's global talent department, led by Matt Newberry, who has previously signed other promising talents such as Senegal's Mor Talla N'diaye and Austria's Ifeanyi Ndukwe. Other recent additions include goalkeeper Armin Pecsi, who is on loan at TSV Hartberg in Germany, and midfielder Samuel Martinez from Colombia.",
