"account": "Manchester City has completed the signing of Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea for a joint-British record transfer fee of £125 million, surpassing Liverpool's £125 million fee for Alexander Isak. This deal brings City's spending to a Premier League record £458 million for a single transfer window, while also achieving around £300 million from player sales this summer. Fernandez had previously joined Chelsea from Benfica in 2023 for a British record fee of £107 million. Reports suggest Fernandez had expressed interest in joining Real Madrid earlier in the summer and was booed by Chelsea fans during their friendly against Real Sociedad. The 25-year-old was not involved in Chelsea's recent matches, stating he was going through a difficult time. In an open letter, Fernandez revealed his struggles and gratitude towards Chelsea's supporters. He expressed his excitement about joining City, stating the club's culture of success and quality across the squad. Fernandez aims to learn from his new teammates and contribute to City's continued trophy-winning.",
