"account": "The Mount Moroto Hotel in Uganda donated Shs1 million to the Moroto Rotary Cancer Run in remembrance of the late philanthropist, Mzee Cornelius Kodet Lorika. The hotel's contribution included providing running kits, bottled water, and a public address system for the event. Kodet Lorika died in 2025, and the hotel's manager, Emmanuel Yongo, stated that the donation aimed to honor the businessman's legacy and carry on his commitment to fighting cancer. The Moroto Rotary Cancer Run, organized by Centenary Bank, brought together individuals and institutions to raise funds for a cancer center at Nsambya Hospital. Health workers from the Moroto Regional Referral Hospital also participated in the run, motivated by personal experiences with cancer and a desire to raise awareness. Centenary Bank, which has contributed approximately Shs3 billion to the Rotary Cancer Run over the years, also supported the event, reaffirming its dedication to cancer prevention and treatment initiatives.",
