"account": "Chaka Khan and Q Parker of the '90s R&B group 112 have been appointed to honorary roles for the Living Legends Foundation's 35th anniversary gala, which takes place at Flourish by Legendary in Atlanta on October 2nd. Khan serves as the Honorary Ambassador, while Parker acts as the Honorary Gala Chair. This marks a full circle moment for Khan, who was previously honored by the foundation in 1992. She commented on the significance of her return, stating that some of the most vital contributions go unnoticed. Parker expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, noting that Black music has provided him with a career, community, and platform to influence people globally. The gala also celebrates the foundation's milestone year, with the 2026 Living Legends honorees announced in June, led by BET president Louis Carr, who will receive the Ray Harris Lifetime Achievement Award.",
