"account": "John Stewart's origin story in the superhero series Lanterns delves into the real-world implications of superheroes and their impact. Inspired by Watchmen and Damon Lindelof's 2019 HBO series, Lanterns explores the dark side of superhero power, particularly in relation to America's racist history. The third episode, \"OutKast,\" takes a dramatic turn when John Stewart experiences the trauma of almost being chosen for the Green Lantern Corps. The episode depicts John's father being lifted out of bed by a green bubble in the middle of the night, and his terrified reaction to an unspecified voice. This event sets the stage for John Stewart's eventual recruitment into the Corps and the implications of his family's connection to the Green Lanterns.",
