"account": "The Detroit Lions are nearing the end of their preseason, with most roster spots already determined. However, the backup quarterback position remains uncertain. Initially, it seemed Teddy Bridgewater's retirement would simply hand the job to undrafted rookie Luke Altmyer. Yet, the Lions added veteran Josh Dobbs, creating a competitive situation between Altmyer and Dobbs. Coach Dan Campbell emphasized that Altmyer needs to demonstrate consistency, smart football, and efficient decision-making. Dobbs' interception in a recent game is a reminder of the potential risks of such a decision. The Lions prefer seasoned players for backup roles, but talent is also critical. The team may try to keep both players, either by cutting Dobbs or having Altmyer clear waivers. No decisions are made until after Saturday's preseason finale against the Indianapolis Colts.",
