"account": "A 27-year-old man has been apprehended after allegedly assaulting a 10-year-old boy and repeatedly stabbing his mother outside Victoria Police headquarters in Melbourne's city centre on Tuesday afternoon. Superintendent Zorka Dunstan, who witnessed the incident, recounted that the attacker struck the boy on Spencer St before reapproaching and holding his mother in a headlock. Bystanders quickly intervened, dragging the assailant away from the victim. The boy and his mother, who were visiting from Cowes, a township in Phillip Island, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital. Their two other children were visibly shaken but unharmed. Dunstan expressed gratitude for the immediate assistance provided by the witnesses, stating that without their intervention, the outcome could have been much more severe. Police, who noted the assailant's prior associations with Victoria, NSW, and Western Australia, confirmed that the attack was random and the parties involved were not acquainted.",
