"account": "Director Jon Turteltaub has confirmed that National Treasure 3 is indeed in the works, bringing joy to the eager fans who have long awaited the return of the treasure-hunting adventures. Despite the franchise's modest filmography of only two movies and a brief Disney+ series, the devoted fanbase continues to fervently wish for more escapades of Benjamin Franklin Gates, portrayed by Nicolas Cage. Turteltaub, who previously directed National Treasure: Edge Of History, revealed the exciting news during a live recording of the National Treasure Hunt podcast, which seemed to resonate deeply with the audience of enthusiastic fans. Initially hesitant to disclose the information, Turteltaub eventually confirmed that a script has been penned and approved by all pertinent parties, including Disney. While skepticism remains, given past delays and the cancellation of Edge Of History after just ten episodes, Turteltaub's excitement about the news was palpable as he declared, \"It's finally happening!\" Furthermore, Cage is reportedly on board for the new installment, although it remains to be seen if the film will encounter any unforeseen obstacles, such as those encountered in Hollywood's recent ventures.",
