"account": "Canada's new government has decided to suspend trade negotiations with the United States and impose a 50% tariff on roughly $28 billion worth of Canadian goods in response to last-minute changes proposed by the U.S. government. The Canadian government asserts that these terms are unfair, uneconomic, and call into question the reliability of any potential deal. This move is intended to protect Canadian workers and businesses. The government will introduce additional support measures for Canadian workers and businesses in the coming days, building upon the nearly $25 billion in support provided over the past 18 months. Despite recent progress, the Canadian government feels that the negotiations have not met their objectives for Canadians and has decided to suspend the talks until a more favorable agreement can be reached.",
