"account": "Canada will match any tariffs imposed by the United States \"dollar for dollar\" in response to new 50% tariffs on Canadian goods, Prime Minister Mark Carney announced on Friday. The tariffs are set to take effect at midnight, with the US claiming the decision reflects alleged discrimination against American commerce. Canada's suspension of trade negotiations and recall of negotiators comes after three days of talks failed to reach an agreement before the deadline. While the US cites a willingness to negotiate and improve the deal for Canadian businesses, Ottawa maintains it will no longer budge, emphasizing its economic independence and diversification of trade relations beyond the US.",
