"account": "Michigan has terminated offensive coordinator Jason Beck following a 15-6 defeat to Michigan State, just 24 hours after the loss. The team's offensive performance has been a major concern throughout the 5-4 season, with Beck's schemes failing to yield positive results, as highlighted by Michigan's current standing at No. 126 in yards per game among FBS schools. Kyle Whittingham, who recruited Beck from Utah, expressed the need for a change in leadership to improve the team's offensive capabilities. Interim offensive coordinator Jim Harding, who was previously an offensive line coach and assistant head coach, will lead the offense for the remainder of the season. Michigan fans are not holding their breath for Whittingham, with reactions ranging from disappointment to calls for his eventual replacement, signaling that Beck's dismissal is only the beginning of the necessary adjustments.",
