"account": "In a recent joint security operation in Ogun State, police and Department of State Services (DSS) operatives managed to neutralize a suspected kidnapper, arrest an 18-year-old suspect, and recover two AK-47 rifles. The operation, which took place on November 8, 2026, marks the second suspected kidnapper neutralized and third AK-47 rifle recovered since the campaign against kidnappers began. Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, disclosed these details in a statement, noting that the suspect identified as Abubakar Yinusa was apprehended as part of a larger effort to combat kidnapping in the state. The operation also resulted in the safe release of ten passengers who had been abducted at Orita Fufu, Awa-Ijebu on November 3. This success is attributed to the cooperation among various security agencies, including the Police, DSS, and other quasi-security outfits. Babaseyi emphasized the importance of continued partnership among these agencies to dismantle criminal networks and ensure the safety of Ogun State residents. The police urged the public to remain vigilant and report any individuals with gunshot wounds to the nearest security agency.",
