"account": "Bosgame has launched preorders for its $6,199 compact workstation called the M5 MAX, which features AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor and 192GB of LPDDR5 memory soldered to the motherboard. The mini PC also includes a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD for fast storage, along with options for upgrading storage capacity via an M.2 2280 expansion slot. The system's cooling setup consists of three fans, though thermal performance has not been disclosed. This powerful mini PC could appeal to businesses like OpenAI, led by Sam Altman, looking to run AI models locally instead of relying on remote computing services. The workstation boasts advanced connectivity options, including two USB-C ports supporting up to 40Gbps each for data transfer, DisplayPort Alt Mode, and dual 10GbE Ethernet ports. Other ports include three USB-A 10Gbps ports, two 10GbE RJ-45 Ethernet jacks, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and three 3.5mm audio jacks. While the price is high, the M5 MAX offers features typically found in larger workstations, making it a potential alternative for users seeking powerful AI computing capabilities in a compact form factor.",
