"account": "Nvidia announced on Sunday that it has initiated an independent investigation following reports alleging that CEO Jensen Huang was involved in a close relationship with a Chinese businesswoman who allegedly transmitted information to Beijing. In a company-wide message, Huang admitted to being unfaithful to his wife and took full responsibility for his actions.\n\nAccording to the New York Times, US authorities are currently investigating Alice Huang, a former executive at Singapore-based company Megaspeed, which purchases AI chips from Nvidia. US authorities have been investigating Megaspeed over suspicions that it may have facilitated Beijing's access to advanced AI chips that are prohibited from shipment to China.\n\nThe NVIDIA Board has taken the lead in initiating the investigation in response to recent reports that Huang has been targeted by a foreign intelligence effort. An independent panel of directors, supplemented by outside counsel, will oversee the probe. Despite having no reason to believe that national security or Nvidia's secrets were compromised, the company emphasized that the investigation will review all available information.\n\nHuang, who fully supports the review, has pledged his cooperation and expressed deep regret for his actions. He addressed his employees, board, partners, and shareholders, acknowledging that he had fallen short of their trust and committed to regaining it. Nvidia spokesperson confirmed that Huang remains fully committed to leading the company as CEO without interruption.\n\nHigh-ranking Republican lawmakers in the US House of Representatives have urged Huang to brief Congress about the report.",
