"summary": "Nvidia announced on Sunday that its board of directors is initiating an independent investigation following reports that founder and CEO Jensen Huang was the target of a foreign intelligence effort. The company stated that while the board has no reason to believe Nvidia secrets or US national security were compromised, the inquiry will examine all available information. Mr. Huang said he supports the review and has committed to cooperating with it.\n\nThe investigation follows an October New York Times report alleging Mr. Huang had a close relationship with a Chinese businesswoman who passed information to Beijing. Top Republican lawmakers in the US House of Representatives have called for Mr. Huang to brief Congress on the matter this month.\n\nABC News AU reported that Axios cited a draft email from Mr. Huang to employees in which he admitted to having a romantic relationship with a suspected Chinese spy and expressed remorse for being unfaithful to his wife. The National UAE also reported that an email obtained by the outlet confirmed Mr. Huang's admission regarding the relationship.",
