"summary": "Nvidia’s board of directors has launched an independent investigation into whether CEO Jensen Huang was targeted by a foreign spy plot. According to Bloomberg, the company stated it has no reason to believe Nvidia secrets were compromised. Huang remains CEO pending the outcome of the probe.\n\nThe investigation follows reports regarding Huang's relationship with a Chinese businesswoman. Semafor reported that Huang admitted in a company-wide letter to having an extramarital affair with a Chinese executive suspected of spying for Beijing. In the letter, Huang expressed regret for his actions and stated he is committed to earning back the confidence of the company and its stakeholders.\n\nCBC Business reported that top Republican lawmakers in the U.S. House of Representatives have called for Huang to brief Congress this month. This follows an October report alleging he had a close relationship with a Chinese businesswoman who passed information to Beijing. Semafor noted that The New York Times reported US Secretary of State Marco Rubio drafted a memo warning officials about Huang's relationship with Alice Huang, an executive at Singapore-based Megaspeed.",
