"summary": "Nvidia is launching an independent investigation following media reports that its founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, was the target of a foreign intelligence effort. Top Republican lawmakers in the US House of Representatives have called for Mr. Huang to brief Congress this month regarding an October report alleging he had a close relationship with a Chinese businesswoman who passed information to Beijing.\n\nAccording to Axios, a draft email from Mr. Huang to employees shows him admitting to a romantic relationship with a suspected Chinese spy and taking full responsibility for his actions. In the email, Mr. Huang stated he was unfaithful to his wife and that his actions hurt his wife and children. Techmeme reported that Mr. Huang also said he fell short of his duties to Nvidia's board, shareholders, and employees.\n\nNvidia stated on Sunday that while its board has no reason to believe that US national security or company secrets were compromised, the inquiry will examine all available information. The board expressed full confidence in Mr. Huang. Mr. Huang is said to fully support the review and has committed to cooperating with it.",
