"account": "Ohio State’s head coach Ryan Day shielded freshman quarterback Luke Fahey from criticism following a devastating 41-28 loss to Oregon. The game, which dropped Ohio State’s record to 6-3, triggered intense scrutiny, particularly after the Buckeyes gave up a 14-0 lead and 38 unanswered points. The defeat, which signified the first time Day had lost three games in a single season, sparked a petition against the team highlighted by Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy. Despite the overwhelming pressure, Day remained steadfast in his support of Fahey, who threw for 360 yards in the game. Day expressed that Fahey is \"trying his tail off\" for the team, acknowledging that it is a challenging position for a true freshman, but believed the team placed him in tough spots. In the locker room after the game, Day addressed the team, emphasizing the necessity to navigate through this challenging period and promising a comprehensive review of both the coaching staff and players to restore accountability.",
