"summary": "The African Group of Negotiators on Climate Change (AGN) has convened nearly 200 countries in Antalya, Türkiye, for COP31, which runs from November 9 to 20. The conference, dubbed the \"implementation COP,\" aims to translate existing climate commitments into tangible action, with a focus on resilience, health outcomes, and economic opportunities. AGN Chair, Nana Dr Antwi-Boasiako Amoah, emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation to ensure that Africa's proposed agenda items, including a tripling of adaptation finance and the replenishment of the Green Climate Fund, are considered and adequately funded. The AGN is advocating for climate action that supports resilient economies, improves livelihoods, and promotes sustainable development, backed by necessary finance, technology, and capacity.",
