"account": "After Kerry Greenwood's death last year, her life partner and business manager, David Greagg, discovered another unpublished manuscript. The completed novel, Just Desserts, features the popular character Corinna Chapman, a cat-loving baker and reluctant detective. The book, the eighth in the Cozy Crime series, sees Corinna navigating dodgy real estate practices, kidnapping, and muffins. Greenwood's publisher, Annette Barlow, highlighted how Greenwood wanted to portray a plus-size heroine who was healthy and happy. Barlow described Greenwood as wise, kind, appreciative, and talented, noting that she was one of three people present at the author's private funeral in April last year. Greagg, who collaborated with Greenwood for over two decades, expressed his delight in publishing the final book, emphasizing its uplifting nature, fitting for Greenwood's cheeky valedictory treat.",
"summary": "With the publication of the Melbourne author's final novel, Just Desserts, her partner David Greagg and close friends share memories of the whip-smart author who never expected to make it to 70.",
