"summary": "The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has implemented a significant reshuffle in its senior leadership, appointing new commanders across various operational commands, strategic institutions, and the Defence Headquarters. This strategic move, approved by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, on November 7, 2026, aims to bolster command effectiveness, enhance institutional capacity, and maintain operational readiness. Among the key appointments, Air Vice Marshal AK Ademuwagun has been designated as Chief of Transformation and Innovation, while AVM IV Ajiboye assumes the role of Superintendent of Standards and Evaluation. Other senior officers have been reassigned to positions such as Chief of Air Intelligence, Chief of Operations, Air Provost Marshal, Chief of Training, and Chief of Aircraft Engineering, reflecting a deliberate effort to align leadership skills with the Air Force's evolving priorities.",
