"account": "USM Alger secured the African Super Cup title by defeating Mamelodi Sundowns 3-1 in a rain-soaked match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria. Ahmed Khaldi, the Algerian side's star player, scored one goal and set up another, contributing to their second Super Cup victory. USM Alger had already won the trophy in 2023. Zakaria Draoui and Saadi Radouani also scored for the hosts, but Iqraam Rayners' penalty for Sundowns was their only consolation. The match started 30 minutes late due to heavy rain at the stadium. Sundowns had previously won the African Champions League last season, earning them a spot in the Super Cup, but they were eliminated before the group stages this time. USM Alger also won the African Confederation Cup in the 2025-26 season.",
"summary": "Khaldi curled in a superb shot from outside the box 10 minutes into the second half.",
