"account": "Algerian club USM Alger claimed their second CAF Super Cup title by defeating Mamelodi Sundowns 3-1 in Pretoria on Sunday. Ahmed Khaldi was the standout performer, scoring a goal and providing an assist to secure the victory. Zakaria Draoui and Saadi Radouani also found the back of the net for Alger, denying Sundowns the chance to add another continental honor to their collection. The South African champions scored once through Iqraam Rayners, but they could not recover from their difficult afternoon, which was marked by injuries and early changes for their coach Miguel Cardoso. The win earned USM Alger $500,000 in prize money and continued a strong recent record for Confederation Cup winners in the annual contest between African club competition holders. This is the second Super Cup triumph for USM Alger, who previously won the trophy in 2023.",
