"account": "In a postgame press conference following their 15-6 loss to Michigan State, Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham admitted that the team seriously considered quarterback Bryce Underwood during the game. Whittingham acknowledged that the coaching staff discussed the possibility of bringing in Underwood late in the third quarter as an alternative to struggling freshman Tommy Carr. However, the Wolverines ultimately decided to keep Carr in the game, despite his poor performance. Whittingham explained that the offensive coaches believed Carr was still their best option at the time. Michigan finished the game with just 192 total yards, 54 rushing yards, and four turnovers, scoring their first points only with 1:35 remaining in the fourth quarter. Whittingham expressed regret about the decision, stating that in hindsight, it might have been the wrong call. The offensive coaches' insistence on sticking with Carr has raised questions about the team's ability to turn their struggling offense around.",
