"account": "The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has boldly challenged President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to face off against ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar in a free and fair election, following the party's impressive rallies in Sokoto and Kebbi states. ADC Presidential Campaign Council Director-General, Senator Austin Akobundu, made the bold assertion in response to the surge in support for Abubakar and his running mate, Rotimi Amaechi. Akobundu highlighted the large turnout as a testament to the growing public eagerness for a say in Nigeria's political future and the ADC's determination to be included in the upcoming presidential contest. He vehemently criticized the government's attempt to circumvent the electoral process through court proceedings, expressing concern over their unwillingness to engage in a competitive election. Akobundu demanded that the Federal Government and APC-led administration permit Nigerians to freely choose their leaders without intimidation, obstruction, or interference. He emphasized the importance of allowing competing political ideas to be heard and campaign events to be attended by the public, ensuring that every party has the opportunity to campaign freely.",
