"account": "President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, and the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) have praised Nigeria’s Under-17 women’s national football team, known as the Flamingos, for their historic win at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. Akpabio called the players \"Nigeria’s Golden Girls,\" highlighting that their victory made history for the country and the entire African continent. Nigeria became the first African nation to secure this prestigious title, according to Akpabio. The team’s achievement symbolized more than a football triumph; it demonstrated the exceptional talent, determination, and resilience of the young athletes. Akpabio credited their success to their collective efforts, emphasizing that their courage, discipline, teamwork, and fighting spirit brought joy to millions of Nigerians and inspired a new generation of girls to pursue their dreams. The Senate President also noted that the win elevated Nigeria’s standing on the global stage and encouraged young girls across Africa to aim for greatness. The NDC echoed the praise, calling the Flamingos' victory over Japan a remarkable feat of courage, determination, and resilience. The opposition party congratulated the players, coaches, and staff for their historic achievement and stated that it underscored the immense potential of Nigerian youths, particularly women. The NDC believes their success will inspire future generations and wished the team well, considering their accomplishment a source of national pride.",
