"account": "The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Chairman of Yobe State, Umar Jajere, and Secretary-General, Mustapha Gado, have declared their purported impeachment invalid. They maintain their status as the recognized leaders of the council and accuse those behind the move of violating the IPAC Code of Conduct (2019). This dispute stems from an emergency meeting held on Thursday, following which Jajere and Gado were accused of failing to consult member political parties on important decisions, neglecting regular meetings, and misusing council funds for personal gain. The officials argue that the meeting did not meet the required quorum and did not follow proper procedural requirements. They also claim that no formal complaint or investigation was conducted before the impeachment decision. The officials emphasize that they remain the legitimate leadership of IPAC in Yobe State and warn against anyone assuming leadership through an illegal process. They have threatened disciplinary measures for those involved and urged other political stakeholders to recognize their authority.",
