"summary": "Former BJP MP Gopal Shetty protested the BMC's demolition of 27 structures in Borivali East by tonsuring his head. Shetty alleged that the municipal corporation acted hastily, without giving residents sufficient time to retrieve their belongings, describing the action as a \"mockery of democracy.\" The demolished structures stood on private land that had been occupied for nearly 50 years, and Shetty criticized the local BJP leadership for not supporting the affected families. The BMC had initiated action against two officials following the Supreme Court's criticism.",
