"account": "Philadelphia Phillies manager Don Mattingly has laid out plans for the highly anticipated role change of star player Bryce Harper following a disappointing 2026 season. In an interview from the Gold Glove Award ceremony, Mattingly confirmed that Harper will transition back to first base, a position he previously occupied before elbow surgery. The decision aims to ease Harper's workload, given his advanced age and the team's hopes for another World Series run. The Phillies also appear to be considering bringing back first baseman Alec Bohm or designated hitter Luis Arraez, both free agents. While the future of these key players remains uncertain, it seems unlikely that Harper will be moved back into the outfield as the Phillies prioritize maximizing production from both Harper and Kyle Schwarber. The organization's focus is on improving their batting lineup, with Harper and Schwarber combined to have a remarkably high walk rate in 2026, suggesting potential for increased consistency from the team's supporting cast in the upcoming season.",
