"account": "Garmin watches often experience significant price drops during major sales events like Black Friday. As Black Friday approaches, it's expected that a variety of Garmin watches will be discounted. While some deals have already appeared, such as the Garmin Fenix 8 dropping to $742 on Amazon, the author predicts more substantial discounts are on the horizon. After testing Garmin watches for over a decade and tracking their prices during sales, the author has identified five watches they anticipate seeing heavily discounted during Black Friday.\n\nThe Garmin Forerunner 165, an entry-level running watch, is set to be a focal point of upcoming sales. Although it has already been reduced from $249 to $202 at Best Buy, it has been as low as $129 this year and the author hopes it will reach this price point again during Black Friday sales.\n\nAnother watch to watch is the Garmin Forerunner 265, an AMOLED multi-sport watch that offers a more budget-friendly alternative to newer models. Its lowest price ever was $299 during last year's holiday sales, and while no significant deal is currently being offered, the author believes it is primed for widespread discounts in the coming weeks.\n\nThe Garmin Forerunner 965, an older watch that could be a good triathlon option, has a lowest price of $449, making it $300 cheaper than the newer Garmin Forerunner 970. This watch is currently priced at $479 on Amazon, a good deal, but the author expects it to drop further.\n\nThe Garmin Epix Pro, though now superseded by newer models, is still an excellent adventure watch and likely to be significantly cheaper than those newer models in sales. It's currently priced at $639 on Amazon, a $360 saving, but the author anticipates a deal that brings the price down to at least $499, its lowest in recent memory.\n\nLastly, the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro, the successor to the Fenix 8, is expected to receive significant discounts during Black Friday sales. Its lowest price in the past has been $849, and the author anticipates it will drop to around $499 in the coming weeks. Currently, it is available for $1,049 on Amazon, a $50 saving, but the author believes a better deal will appear if one waits a week or two.",
