"account": "Shenzen, China (Kyodo) -- Kao Miura, a 21-year-old Japanese figure skater, claimed victory at the Cup of China event on Sunday, securing his spot in the upcoming Grand Prix Final. Standing atop the rankings after Friday's short program, Miura delivered an impressive performance with personal-best scores of 190.35 points in his free skate and a total of 293.25 points, marking his strong showing at the third Grand Prix Series event held in Shenzhen.\n\nMiura, who competed in this year's Milan Cortina Olympics, expressed his happiness, stating, \"I'm really happy. What was especially good this time was that I was able to get through the competition without any major mistakes overall.\" He acknowledged there is still room for improvement, saying, \"I want to continue training hard for the Grand Prix Final.\"\n\nMiura's fellow Japanese competitor, Shun Sato, the 2014 Milan Cortina Olympic bronze medalist in men's singles, secured the fourth position, effectively ending his pursuit of a third consecutive Cup of China title. Russian skaters Vladislav Dikidzhi and Evgeni Semenenko rounded out the top five, finishing second and third, respectively.\n\nThe Grand Prix Final will take place in China's Chongqing city in December, featuring the top six skaters based on the points accumulated during the Grand Prix Series.",
