"account": "Daegu witnessed a historic moment as the Samsung Lions clinched their first Korean Series title in 12 years, defeating the KT Wiz 12-1 in Game 5. The Lions secured victory with an explosive eight-run fifth inning at Daegu Samsung Lions Park. Starting pitcher Won Tae-in delivered a stellar performance, pitching five innings of one-run ball. Captain Koo Ja-wook was instrumental, batting 3-for-5 and scoring twice, earning him the prestigious Korean Series MVP award. The Lions' journey to the championship was not without challenges, as they suffered a tough road loss to the Wiz in the series opener in Suwon. However, they rebounded to win the following four games, including three consecutive wins at home in Daegu. The Wiz entered the Korean Series as the regular season leaders with the best record and received a first-round bye. The Lions, finishing second in the regular season with an eight-game gap to the Wiz, became the first No. 2 seed to win the championship since the 2018 SK Wyverns. The Wiz sought their first title since 2021 and were the previous year's runners-up.",
