"account": "Professor Pat Utomi, a political economist, has harshly criticized the current administration of President Bola Tinubu for the worsening electricity crisis in Nigeria. On his verified X account, Utomi warned that millions of citizens have been left without power supply as the impending El Niño climate threat draws near. Utomi stated that the individuals responsible for Nigeria's electricity crisis are fully aware of the impending El Niño warnings and the potential danger it could bring to the country. He emphasized that they know the threat ahead of time, despite the millions of citizens enduring weeks without a reliable electricity supply. Utomi further argued that this situation is a result of a government that has become disconnected from the suffering of its people. He accused the administration of failing to guarantee its citizens reliable electricity even as it faces an approaching climate threat, and questioned why the ordinary Nigerian must continue to be treated as an afterthought. Utomi urged the government to provide a comprehensive explanation for its inability to address the crisis.",
