The Bulldogs, coached by Amanda Clear, overcame a 9-0 deficit against the Falcons to secure the match with a score of 25-20, 22-25, 25-20, 22-25, 15-12, marking their third regional championship in the last decade. Clear emphasized that the team's motivation was driven by their goal of reaching the state championship, and the team's aggressive play style proved decisive throughout the five-set match. Hillsdale coach Matti Willeke acknowledged the Bulldogs' consistent performance and their ability to adjust their game plan. The Bulldogs' dominant performance marked the end of the careers for several key players, including Jillian Cowger, Kiki McFadden, Jordyn Fickes, and Joslyn Fickes.
