"account": "A grand event took place at The Royal Box Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, on Wednesday evening, as MultiChoice Nigeria unveiled new DStv and GOtv packages for its subscribers. The company, owned by French media conglomerate Canal+, underwent significant changes following its acquisition last year. MultiChoice Nigeria CEO, Kemi Omotosho, outlined three key drivers of the changes: new ownership, shifting consumer preferences, and an expanded content offering. She emphasized that the merger of Canal+ and MultiChoice would enable the company to expand globally while maintaining its African identity. The new DStv packages include Starter, Select, Sports, and Premium, while GOtv customers can choose from Easy, Starter, Select, and Sports. The evening featured celebrity attendees, musical performances, themed rooms, and package unveilings, with the Loud Urban Choir delivering the evening's highlight with their energetic renditions of popular songs.",
