"account": "Ships in the Strait of Hormuz caught fire due to explosions, while Iran's Revolutionary Guard announced lifting a range limit for ballistic missiles. US President Donald Trump had hinted at new strikes on Iran post the midterm elections on November 3. The US claimed to have conducted minor strikes against an Iranian air defense system. Simultaneously, Qatar proposed a comprehensive agreement to resolve the crisis, aiming for security and stability in the region. Iran is reportedly assessing Qatar's mediation efforts, which address differences with the US concerning Tehran's nuclear program. However, Iranian officials stressed that negotiations with the Trump administration on atomic activities would proceed only if the US agreed to certain conditions.",
"summary": "Explosions have been heard on Iran's Qeshm Island and tankers in the strait have caught fire after hitting mines. Meanwhile, Iran says it has lifted a 2,000km limit on the range of its missiles.",
