"account": "In the run-up to the Melaka election, the Barisan Nasional (BN) party is prioritizing young voters as a crucial demographic for securing victory. Ab Rauf Yusoh, the BN chairman of Melaka, emphasized that young voters possess the potential to be a substantial portion of the total votes cast. He urged these young voters to make informed choices during the election to safeguard the progress achieved under the current administration and to continue the progress laid by the people. Ab Rauf stressed that young voters are being groomed to become future leaders and must choose a stable and capable government to build upon the foundation established. During a campaign ceramah in the Tanjung Bidara state constituency, Ab Rauf highlighted that the automatic voter registration system has expanded the voter base, including those who had been eligible to vote for years but had not registered. He further revealed that the 2022 General Election demonstrated the need for BN to broaden its support base, particularly among new voters like young people. Ab Rauf added that the Muafakat Melaka strategic cooperation with Perikatan Nasional could potentially secure up to 25 seats for the coalition if their campaign efforts were executed effectively.",
