"summary": "U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that he has offered the position of White House press secretary to Dana White, the CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. In a Truth Social post, Trump described White as a \"great fighter and warrior\" and urged him to accept the role. The position has been vacant since October 16 following the departure of Katie Zacharia, who served for less than a week.\n\nTrump requested that White bring six current or former UFC titleholders to serve as assistants or advisors, noting that some are not U.S. citizens. According to The Korea Times, these individuals include Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov from Russia's Dagestan region, Americans Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, and Kayla Harrison, and Brazilian-born Amanda Nunes. The Korea Times reports that Trump stated these individuals are needed to defend against the \"Lunatic Left.\"\n\nWhite plans to meet with Trump at the White House on Monday. The Times of Israel noted that White shared an image on Instagram of himself standing behind a White House podium. White and UFC parent company TKO Group Holdings did not immediately respond to requests for comment.",
