"account": "NEW DELHI: US authorities have detained Harry Boxer, a notorious gangster, at the request of Indian law enforcement agencies. Boxer, also known as Hari Chand Jaat, was apprehended in California on Friday and efforts are underway to extradite him back to India, according to sources. This news follows closely after the detention of gangster Himanshu Bhau, causing concern among the underworld, with many considering leaving the US, sources revealed. Indian security and intelligence agencies have been closely monitoring Boxer's movements since a shooting incident at film director Rohit Shetty's residence in Mumbai earlier this year. His arrest is seen as a significant victory, as Boxer controlled a crucial part of the Lawrence Bishnoi criminal syndicate from abroad. Boxer's name also appeared in connection with shooting incidents at comedian Kapil Sharma's cafe in Canada and various cases in Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana. Boxer, 40, hails from Chatarpura village in Kotputli-Behror, Rajasthan, and earned his nickname for his background in sports and boxing. After transitioning into the underworld, he has been on the run since 2022 and escaped India. His latest detention follows a brief detention in January 2026 when he attempted to apply for asylum and was briefly detained by immigration authorities before being released, sources disclosed. Indian agencies are currently coordinating efforts to secure Boxer's custody.",
