"summary": "President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that he has offered the role of White House press secretary to Dana White, the president and CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. In a post on Truth Social, Trump described White as a \"violent Fighter and Warrior.\" Trump also suggested that White bring several fighters along as assistants to help \"defend us against the Lunatic Left,\" including six current or former UFC titleholders such as Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Kayla Harris, and Amanda Nunes.\n\nThe offer follows the departure of previous press secretary Katie Zacharia, who was let go in October less than a week after taking the position. Trump told reporters that he had suggested Zacharia reconsider the role because it is not easy, noting she had also acknowledged failing the bar exam.\n\nWhile Trump has repeatedly attempted to link his political brand to White's organization, it was not immediately clear if the offer was meant as a joke or trolling, according to Deadline. White and the UFC’s parent company, TKO Group Holdings, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.",
