"summary": "President Donald Trump has offered the position of White House press secretary to Dana White, the CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. In a post on Truth Social, Trump described White as a \"violent Fighter and Warrior\" and suggested that White bring fighters along to serve as aides or assistants. Trump noted that some of these individuals may not be from the United States, but stated, “We need these people to defend us against the Lunatic Left.”\n\nAmong the six current or former UFC titleholders Trump suggested join White are Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Kayla Harris, and Amanda Nunes, according to Dawn. The offer comes following the departure of former press secretary Katie Zacharia, who was let go in October. Trump told reporters regarding Zacharia that he had suggested she reconsider the role due to public scrutiny, adding that there is nothing easy about the position.\n\nFrance 24 reported that Trump has repeatedly attempted to link his political brand to the successful UFC. White and the UFC's parent company, TKO Group Holdings, did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Deadline noted it was not immediately clear if the offer was intended as a joke or trolling.",
