"account": "On Saturday, President Donald Trump extended an invitation to Dana White, the president and CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), to serve as his new press secretary. In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed his desire for White to defend him against the \"Lunatic Left,\" adding that the sports executive would provide a press secretary \"like none other.\" Trump encouraged White to accept the offer with the phrase, \"Dana, please take the job!\"\n\nWhite did not immediately confirm the position, but he humorously responded via Instagram with a photoshopped image of himself in a press secretary's podium at the White House. He captioned the image with \"On to the next chapter.\" White then shared a screenshot of Trump's Truth Social announcement, featuring images of UFC fighters and White appearing ready to fight for Trump. In his Instagram Story post, White expressed his pleasure at being offered the role of Press Secretary of the United States.\n\nTrump further detailed the positions he wanted White to take on his team, including Russian fighters Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Kayla Harris. Trump requested that White bring assistants, even though some may not be from the United States. The post detailing Trump's request for Dana White to become his new press secretary was initially published on TheWrap.",
