"account": "President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that he had offered UFC CEO Dana White the position of White House press secretary. Trump claimed the former professional fighter was necessary to counter the \"radical left.\" This offer followed the short tenure of Katie Zacharia, who had been appointed to the role only to be dismissed days later. The announcement came after a contentious midterm election, during which Democrats gained control of both houses of Congress and several governorships. In a post on Truth Social, Trump invited White to accept the position, adding that he would also like to bring some of White's \"assistants,\" who are mixed martial artists. Trump emphasized the need for these individuals to protect the country from the \"Lunatic Left.\" White and the White House have not yet responded to requests for comment. The proposal follows weeks of tension between Trump and White, who have a long-standing friendship dating back to the early 2000s.",
