"summary": "Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja has issued a warning to motorists ahead of the festive season, urging them to avoid drunk driving, speeding, overloading, and using unroadworthy vehicles. The Inspector General made the call during a thanksgiving service in Nairobi, emphasizing the need for increased vigilance from police officers as road traffic and commercial activities surge towards the end of the year. The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has also intensified road safety checks, targeting speeding, drink-driving, unroadworthy vehicles, and other traffic violations. The heightened enforcement aims to reduce preventable crashes and improve road safety during the busy holiday season.",
