"account": "San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is facing multiple hurdles before his NFL return becomes official. Aiyuk and newly hired agent Drew Rosenhaus met with the team's business offices near Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Friday. The 28-year-old has remained on the reserve/left squad list since December 2025. The NFL and NFLPA sent Aiyuk and the NFLPA a letter on Thursday regarding bonuses the league believes Aiyuk must repay to the 49ers. The NFL's demand is $13 million, while the NFLPA believes the amount to be a little less. The dispute could be settled through arbitration. Even if reinstated, Aiyuk would face a two-week roster exemption, allowing the 49ers not to make immediate roster moves. However, trade deadline on Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT poses uncertainty for his future with the team. General manager John Lynch has expressed no expectation for Aiyuk to play for San Francisco again, leaving uncertain where Aiyuk would resume his career.",
